Walk into Mille, with its tall, painted tin ceiling and its angular shelves, and you’ll want to move in. Those shelves hold an array of chunky knits and locally made homegoods, exactly what you need to shake up your closet and living room with a contemporary sensibility. Designs trend toward the haute (read: high-priced) end of the spectrum. It’s worth it. Unlike many of the boutiques around the Twin Cities, Mille offers styles you can’t pick up off the rack just anywhere. Items sell out quickly too, so your score is safe from being stolen by your jealous friends.
